Director statement
Cinema offers the possibility to express, what an innumerable amount of words can’t .
My desire with film making is to address humanity. A truly timeless piece that speaks to anyone, regardless where they are from. I want it to be relatable and comprehensible, independent from race and belief of the viewer.
Borders separate human kind and bring all forms of judgment. In „There Is No Rain in Hell“ you won’t find the film operating within distinct borders, moreover solely humans opposing each other during war and in particular the point of view of innocent civilians.
I never understood how humans want to rescue humanity by killing each other. We deceive ourselves when aiming to achieve peace with war, that’s why we always won in war but lost the peace.
Given the current situation in Ukraine and other places around the world, I would like to give everyone a glimpse of the tragedy and the tremendous pain fellow humans have to encounter by injustice and war.
The movie is meant to create empathy and support relief measures.
We all understand an injustice and should not remain silent when others are in pain.

Story
“The world in which peace is a fragment between two burials”
The city stands in the apocalypse era, no location, no time. When brute war starts, all hell breaks loose. Only 8 people survived are captives themselves in the old candle factory. They stared death in the eyes and stood against it, not surrendering. Every single one of them protects something which represents a strand of life in a place where there is no sight of existence.
War gets near to them every bit, death is always closer than life. in their circumstances, happiness is brief but carving the victory is the cause of survive.
They fear catastrophes that will destroy everything and leave no way back for humanity. Human death didn't win the war, nor did it end the war. It might be that they’re the last victims of this war and one day there will be peace in the world.

Woman, Life, Freedom
We Stand With Iranian Women
“There Is No Rain In Hell” is not just an anti-war film, it's a film in praise of freedom, yearning for peace, justice, and the continuation of life, for tranquility, equity, and the perpetuation of existence.
To me, warfare encompasses more than the brutal descent of projectiles and explosives upon unsuspecting souls, it represents a treacherous betrayal of the dreams and ambitions of individuals who have never truly savored the essence of life.
While I may not have personally encountered the horrors of warfare through the piercing impact of bullets and shells, as an Iranian woman, I have intimately known its anguish that permeates every fiber of my being.
“There Is No Rain In Hell” has sprouted from my wounds.
